Beginner Six Pack Abs Workout

This beginner six pack abs workout alternates between abs exercises and cardio movements to help not only develop your abs muscles and definition, but also burn calories and lower your body fat percentage so your abs will be seen.  

Since you are new to exercise, you should take a short rest period between each abs/cardio to catch your breath and recover before moving on to the next pairing. 

Complete the series one time through to perform the workout, doing each workout once per week for two workouts total.  The beginner six pack abs workouts should be performed on your off days from any regular weight lifting program.

Beginner Abs Workout Version 2 

This beginner six pack abs workout has you performing 40 reps of each abs exercise, going for as long as it takes for you to complete. If you need to stop and rest, do so, but pick right back up as soon as possible. 

Once the abs exercise is finished, proceed right into the cardio portion of the workout, completing that and then moving on to the next abs exercise after a 30 second rest. 

Perform each circuit one time through, doing this beginner six pack abs workout on off days from any regular weight lifting workouts.
